ACT Workshops for Metro Jackson Area Students

Get2College is making available free ACT Prep Workshops for students in the Metro Jackson area. These are great test prep opportunities for students who have never taken the ACT or students who scored between 15 and 25 and want to increase their scores.  We also provide workshops for adults only.
 
IF YOU REGISTER AND FIND YOU CANNOT ATTEND, YOU MUST CANCEL 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OR YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER FOR ANOTHER DATE.
 
The workshops cover:
  • Overview of Mathematics, Science, English and Reading subject areas
  • Tips to achieve your target score
  • Time-saving strategies
  • Review and resource materials provided

Saturday Workshops

In conjunction with our Jackson Get2College Center, the Junior League of Jackson presents workshops to help Metro area high school students interested in improving their ACT scores.

ALL OF THE WORKSHOPS HAVE THE SAME INFORMATION. PLEASE SIGN UP FOR ONLY ONE WORKSHOP. REGISTRATION OPENS ONE MONTH PRIOR TO THE WORKSHOP.

The workshops take place on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in the Classroom Building at the Mississippi College School of Law, 151 E Griffith St. in downtown Jackson, on the following dates:

  • June 1, 2013 – Register Now!
  • September 14, 2013
  • October 19, 2013
  • December 7, 2013
  • February 1, 2014
  • April 5, 2014

Directions to Location: From I-55, take the High Street exit and  travel toward downtown.  Turn left on North Lamar.  Turn right on East Griffith.  Parking is available across the street from the school. The Classroom Building is located on the left about halfway down the block.

Summer Workshops

Free Summer workshops will take place at the ESF Get2College Center in Jackson. Daily workshops begin June 24, and you may choose from morning or afternoon sessions.
