ESF offers lenders a variety of ways to become a Lending Partner to benefit students.

As a lending partner, ESF (Education Services Foundation) and MHEAC (Mississippi Higher Education Assistance Corporation) offer you a choice of ways to further higher education opportunities for students. Partnering with ESF/MHEAC allows you to provide a vital service - Stafford and PLUS Loans - to your customers without all the expense and bureaucracy of the federal student loan programs.

The need is definitely there - an amount equal to 79% of annual tuition and student fee income for Mississippi's public universities is financed by student loans. As new enrollment records are set at the state's universities and tuition costs continue to rise, more and more students are turning to loans to finance their education.

The only objective of ESF is to make certain that Mississippi students have access to higher education, and we invite you to join us in carrying out this most worthwhile mission.

The objective of the ESF Lending Partner Program is to support lending partners with a strategic program designed to increase traffic and generate new business.

Education Partner - ESF pays an annual fee as reimbursement for marketing expenses. You will be able to offer your customers a market-leading guaranteed student loan product without the expense, bureaucracy and legal entanglements of the FFELP (Federal Family Education Loan Program). Secondary Purchase - MHEAC pays competitive premiums for your student loans.

Third-Party Servicing - ESF originates on behalf of a lending partner and provides interim servicing. The lending partner finances and owns the loan, selling to MHEAC at repayment.

ESF made presentations to and assisted more than 40,000 students, parents, counselors, educators and others during the past year and will increase its efforts in the years to come. ESF will work with your institution to develop community workshops, presentations, student/parent emphasis days and any other college access related community event.
