ESF Stafford Loan for Students

All Stafford Loans are subject to federal fees that may be deducted from your loan disbursement:

• 0% to 1% default fee, based on guarantor
• 1% origination fee

Stafford Loans have a fixed interest rate of 6.8%; the interest rate for subsidized undergraduate Stafford Loans will be 6.0% for loans disbursed on or after July 1, 2008.

ESF PLUS Loan for Parents

All PLUS Loans are subject to federal fees that may be deducted from your loan disbursement:

• 0% to 1% default fee, based on guarantor
• 3% origination fee

PLUS Loans have a fixed interest rate of 8.5%.

With ESF as your lender, you will have fast, efficient processing of your loan with our convenient online process. To complete your Pre-approval or Master Promissory Note (MPN), click on the icon below to go to our secure site.

All GradPLUS Loans are subject to federal fees that may be deducted from your loan disbursement:

• 0% to 1% default fee, based on guarantor
• 3% origination fee

GradPLUS Loans have a fixed interest rate of 8.5%. ESF will defer your monthly payment while you are enrolled in school at least half-time.
