Advice from Ellie Wilson, Assistant Director of State Outreach: The key to the college admission and scholarship process is being organized, proactive, and on top of deadlines. As a former college admissions counselor, I saw students miss out on scholarships or forget to submit application materials because they could not remember deadlines. My suggestion is to start a folder for each college to which you are applying. Inside have a checklist of required application documents and important deadlines. You will become less stressed and overwhelmed by staying on top of the college application and scholarship process.
